Last week, our Grade 6 and 7 students rolled into an after school sushi workshop with Izakaya. 🍣 We were proud to collaborate with our alumnus Ms. Rayana Hossain, Founder of IZAKAYA, a well known chain restaurant in Bangladesh, in this workshop. Guided by certified #sushi chefs, our students explored the art of Japanese cuisine and gained new culinary skills. 🧑🏽‍🍳 At the end of the workshop, students proudly sampled their handmade delights, and were each awarded with a Certificate of Participation. 🏅👏 ISD Alumni #SushiCertified #ISDCommunity #HandsOnLearning #CookingWithCulture #FutureChefs #internationalschoolImage attachmentImage attachment+Image attachment

Welcome Dr. Michael Palmer as our new Primary Principal!

International School Dhaka (ISD) is an International Baccalaureate (IB) World School in Dhaka, Bangladesh that was established in 1999. The school enrolls students in the age range of 2–18, from Playgroup through to Grade 12, providing an international education for local and expatriate children living in Bangladesh. There are over 70 international teachers or administrators from about 26 different nationalities. The school is recognized by the Bangladesh Ministry of Education and is accredited by the Council of International Schools (CIS), the New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC), and authorized by the International Baccalaureate Organization (IB).
